for the class at wolfware.ncsu.edu.
You may upload a photo of your handwritten solution or
a file of your typed solution.

Please give an example of a group profile such that the Borda count group
consensus function violates Arrow's Property (Axiom) 2 [Irrelevant Alternative].
As weights, please use N+1 for first place, N–1 for second place,
N–2 for the third place,
..., 1 for the last place, in the presence of N candidates,
where the larger weighted Borda number ranks higher.
Here the first place weight includes a bonus point in addition to the
(reverse) rank.
Note that after eliminating the irrelevant alternative, the first place
has weight N, the second place N–2,..., the last place 1.
