Personal Information

I am a PhD candidate in the Computer Science Department at Duke University. My research in the Donald Lab focuses on developing new methodology and software for solving high-resolution protein structures by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.

I completed my M.S. here in 2009. My Thesis (Algorithms for Structure Determination of Symmetric Proteins from Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Data) won the departmental Outstanding Masters Thesis Award for 2008-2009 and I'm very honored to receive it.

I grew up in St. Louis and completed my B.S. in Computer Science at the University of Missouri-Rolla. UMR is now known as the Missouri University of Science and Technology. During my undergraduate work, I studied AI, databases, graphics, and networking.
