I am a tenure-track Lecturer at the Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Informatics Department of the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol.

My research interests include  cooperative content distribution, incentive mechanism design, human verifiable secure device pairing, social trust in distributed system design, spam mitigation, inter-datacenter bulk transfers, fair and accurate customer pricing in carrier infrastructures, and large data processing.

I received a PhD at the Department of Computer Science at Duke University

Before transferring to Duke I was a PhD candidate at the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Irvine.

I did my undergraduate studies at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. In September 2002, I went to San Diego, California, for MS studies at the department of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of California, San Diego
